Came here after dinner for a donut. There was a line out the door, took about 10 to get in. I just got a glazed donut and it was good, tasted like a typical donut. I didn't know this place was in the area, so I'm glad I know now!

I have always loved coming to this late night spot for a croissant and a green thai tea! You cannot miss with this donut shop. The line can get crazy long but it is totally worth it every single time. I would recommend getting the ham and cheese with jalapeno croissant (warmed up of course) and pair it with a green thai tea. You can expect to wait at least 30 minutes to an hour but sometimes the line moves fairly quickly. The pricing is fairly reasonable for the amount you get and the yumminess of the food/drinksThe workers are always so kind and quick. Seaside bakery does not disappoint!!

Ask anyone who grew up in OC, and they'll tell you this place is legendary - about time I write a review! PARKING: There's parking in front of the businesses lined along next to Seaside, but it can be difficult to find a spot depending on when you come. We most recently came on a weeknight at around 9, so parking was easy. WHAT I ORDERED: Thai tea donut Green thai tea donut Maple cronut Jalapeno ham and cheese croissant Green thai tea DONUTS + DRINKS: In terms of donut quality, it's similar to what you might get at other donut places, but that's not to say this place is mediocre, but rather family-owned donut shops are just all around the board amazing here in SoCal. Way better than anything you'd find on the East Coast as someone who's lived there! The thai tea and green thai tea donuts are fairly unique, but can be hard to taste those flavors. Still delicious, but I'd opt for their other options. I recently tried the maple cronut for the first time and it was amazing! Definitely more crispy and less stale than I'd imagined it would be. The jalapeno ham and cheese croissant is a MUST and probably my go-to item. The green thai tea here is also iconic. Way cheaper than at the boba shops, pretty good quantity, and tastes less ""medicinal"" than other places, if that makes sense. Good ratio with the creamer too. As someone who typically doesn't like green thai tea, this place convinced me. SERVICE: This place is always bustling so they'll get you in and out fast. I recommend stepping back to take a good look at the options so you can order quickly VIBES: There isn't seating inside. It's the type of place where you grab a donut and eat it outside with friends, or better yet, go out to the pier and stare listlessly out into the ocean at the middle of the night while you vent about your ex with friends. BOTTOM LINE: I'm not sure that I'd call this place mindblowing, but this place certainly stands out as a culturally significant place for those of us who grew up here in OC. And especially since they open late at night - sometimes this is the only option. I'd say come here at least once to give it a try and to support this small business!

This is THE late night spot! I recommend the ham and cheese with jalapeno and their green thai tea (for my lactose comrades, they offer oat milk, its not as creamy as the half and half rendition but hits the spot!) I also had their turkey cheese jalapeno and that was just as amazing. I'll probably be back for their spinach croissant it looked SO good through the window! I love stopping by here and sitting alongside the beach to watch the sunset. I feel like a lot of people stop by here late night as they are open 24/7. That being said, please be kind/patient towards the employees as they probably deal with a lot of drunk people in the early morning! Local parking meters are active until 6pm daily I believe. The bakery has a service fee if you use credit, the line is out the door at times, but so worth the wait!

Without a doubt a local favorite! This not-so-hole in the wall has been bustling with business for all hours of their operations. The day or night crowd always keeps a line going at Seaside bakery. As always, recommend a Ham & Cheese Jalapeno Croissant if you're feeling warm but a donut and a cold green thai tea can also hit the spot. You can request your donuts/muffins warmed up if you like as well. Makes the perfect snack stop off the pier.

Shout out to this place for always being open esp for the students and hesitant goodbyes. The green Thai tea is on the concentrated sweet/medicinal side FYI, meant to be sipped so not everyone's taste bud. The chocolate raised donut remains a solid staple in my order. I found the cronut to be a bit dry this time. Always expect a line if you come! But they are efficient

Was fortunate to come at a time when the place was empty as after we left there was a giant line piling out the door. The ladies working there were super nice and helpful! Ended up getting a green Thai tea with a donut and it was delicious. Definitely worth checking out this spot, especially since it's open 24/7.

The food there is sooo goood well the donuts are so goood. The hospitality and vibe wnd the location. The ambiance is that it's a small place but thee vibe and location and. Hospitality allll makes you not worry about that. Auntty Pookie is the sweetest and so is the uncle. I kid you not they make you feel so welcomed. I always get the green Thai tea since it's the main signature drink here with a CRONUT (crossiant+donut) you're not getting a better combo from anywhere else but here sweetie. So back to the location it's literally across. The beach and this place is open 24 hours likee what better combo are you getting aside from the Thai tea and Cronut, come on. Highly recommend this spot! It's so lively on the weekends and on special occasions which make it so worth tthe experience!
